Different Kinds of Paintball Gears
The game of paintball is not for the faint-hearted but it may look dangerous but the truth is it's not. What makes it safe is the safety gears you get to use when playing this game. There are three categories of paintball gears which are field equipment, offensive equipment.
Offensive equipments are the most expensive ones because this are the main paintball gears used such as paintball marker/gun, paint balls and propellants.

Offensive equipments are the most expensive ones because this are the main paintball gears used such as paintball marker/gun, paint balls and propellants.
- Paintball marker/gun: This is the main paintball gear a player should have. Today, there are different kinds of markers and some can also be customized according to the player's preference. If one cannot buy one, there are always rentals found in paintball facilities and other paintball equipments shops.
- Paint balls: How can you shoot without these? It comes in different sizes, colors and shell and it thickness also varies from each manufacturer. Usually, the paint ball's diameter must also be perfectly matched with the barrel used because this can affect velocity.
- Barrel plug: This is placed on the marker when not in use. Accidents can happen where the marker will just go off so when this happens barrel plugs will prevent paint ball from hitting a person.
- Paintball barrel: It has different lengths and diameter and can be attached to a marker to enhance accuracy.
- Hopper: This is the container attached to the marker where the paint balls are loaded. A modified version of hopper is referred to as a loader which feeds the paint balls into the marker efficiently.
- Triggers: It improves the performance of a marker and has different kinds which are rocking triggers, automatic triggers, electronic triggers, cranks and double triggers.
- Propellant or tank: To be able to fire paint balls at a certain distance propellant is needed. It contains an expanding gas either HPA or carbon dioxide.
- Mask: It is a 3-piece equipment that protects the face, the eyes and keeps away glares from the eyes. This is required when playing the game.
- Full body suit: This consists chest protector, neck protector, pads and gloves. Being hit by a paint ball is very painful so a full body suit is a must.
